Here is the most recent written review we received on April 27, 2017.  It comes from Daniel C. Morrison who writes for www.danieldigsit.com/ric-zweig-review.  It read as follows:  "STRANGER" was an absolute gem!.. The raspy voice was deinitely a nice fit to this soft paced song.  I was moved by the peacefulness of the music and story...a song (that) stands out...with story, flow, and quality sounding vocals.  I definitely added it to my rotation of listening musts!  I love the sound of Ric's voice...I loved every one of these songs...I dig this album 9 out of 10..."  A 4 page spread in CITY TO COUNTRY magazine in their March/April 2017 edition saw these words from writer Tammy KC Heyges as follows:  "Personally, I have to say I am impressed...Open your mind and find yourself going in his direction and listening to his lyrics, the poetic side of genius.  Lyrics that flow along with his voice."  Here are some more older reviews.  Isaac Davis Jr. of Juniors Cave Online Magazine writes, "Singer/Songwriter Ric Zweig is a special gem in the mix of today's indie artists."  Jimmy Rae of Skopemag.com opines, "I have to say that Ric Zweig is not Running Out Of Time by any means.  Quite the contrary; this singer/songwriter/classic rock musician is just getting warmed up.  With the release of this new record, the music world has a lot to get excited about...this timeless artist has an incredible amount of feeling...we have found a real & true artist here.  (4 and a half stars out of 5)  Dave Kemler of New Music Tampa Bay says, "Get the scoop on this fantastic singer/songwriter."  Carlito of Music Emissions writes in recommending 'Running Out Of Time', "the style is smooth - majestic even; taking you from the lowest of valleys to the high mountaintops...brilliant chorus sections and hooks, as well as thought provoking lyrics complimented by Ric's raspy and bluesy voice."  Cyrus Rhodes of Indie Music Digest writes, "...brilliant flashes of bold honesty in the musical & lyrical content that simply can't be faked...Zweig really makes the vocal connection with his singing, songwriting & words that sometimes cut like a knife.  The songs themselves are powerful musical experiences, each one possessing unique personality, flair & signature groove...It's a rare find to get this kind of snapshot or music & genuine perspective from an artist.  Zweig is one of these brave artists."  Cody Blevins of Vents Magazine says, "Ric Zweig is a talented musician and songwriter who embodies a charitable and grassroots style that is all but dying off these days.  His newest album, 'Running Out Of Time' is a collection of heartland Americana and smooth pop songs, that make you feel fine, and want to hop in a convertible, or buy one."  Brian Lush, the radio host of Rockwired Radio Profiles says,  "Zweig is in fact revving up the engine with a collection of songs that honestly analyze the highs and lows of love, life and everything".  Rukshan Thenuwara of MuzikReviews.com writes, "Songs like 'Puppet' and 'Shine' sound like radio flavored hits that have cohesive melodies and great arrangements.  Alongside these tracks, songs like 'Mr. Good Vibe' and 'What Are We Supposed To Do' are equally catchy and display Zweig's ability to construct songs... praise for Zweig's musicality and considerable vocal ability.  Zweig has a grasp on composition that should take him far in his live performances."  Jimmy Yell of PyleTown.org opines,  "Ric Zweig sings with passion & power...the music is timeless & has incredible feeling". And, Music Editor Russell Eldridge of Target Audience Magazine writes, "If Bob Seger, Tom Petty, and David Bowie were to jam around a campfire you would get an idea of Ric Zweig's music."  Prominent Music Consultant Eugene Foley wrote the following:, "Your music really brightened my day earlier this month and when music can move me like that, I know it's something special."  Ric Zweig music has been played on (as of May 2017) 70 radio outlets in 9 different countries.  A partial list includes: Skope Radio & Magazine, DigiVegas Radio Podcast, New Music Tampa Bay Radio Podcast (featured artist), Radio Rock Cafe, Pongid Radio, Songwriters Variety Show on Achieve Radio (featured artist), iRadioLA 104, and Rockwired Radio Profiles on RockWired Radio (featured artist).  While visiting Panama, Ric was invited to do a 15 minute live segment featuring 3 of his tunes and an interview on Panama's biggest FM Station "Radio Fabulosa" with the host, DJ Ravi J. RZ tunes "Running Out Of Time" and "Puppet" were featured on Acoustic Roundtable.com. on its show 'Writers In The Round'. 2 RZ tunes were added to the playlist at www.PyleTown.org.(Germany) and Ric was selected as a featured artist on the Jimmy Yell Radio Show at the same PyleTown site where "Running Out Of Time" quickly rose to number 1 on their top 20 list. Pyletown.org, also in May, produced a feature video on Ric entitled, "Court Judge Turns Rocker" which appears on their site as well as on 'You Tube'.  Ric's recent social commentary tune, "What's Going On Today" was added to the playlist at Celtica Radio out of Wales, Great Britain.  Additionally, the artist recently signed his first licensing agreement with Audio Fount Music Licensing.  This non-exclusive arrangement will hopefully expand the reach of RZ music worldwide.  Ric's song "Puppet" was played on a podcast by Dan Herman of Radio Crystal Blue out of Philadelphia, Pa.  Our latest radio placement is Texas' KTSW and The Songwriters Webcast, the nation's #1 rated songwriter radio station.  Once again, Ric was identified as a 'Featured Artist' with 5 RZ tunes in rotation.  Most recently in February of 2016, Ric finally cracked local radio in South Florida by having his tune, "I'd Like To Do It Again" played on 880AM on the Nora Adler Show.  Ric has been interviewed on the following online sites;  Juniors Cave Online Magazine, Vents Online Magazine, and a 30 minute audio interview on Rockwired Radio Profiles hosted by Brian Lush and available through www.rockwired.com.  Other interviews include www.aj-n-dbs.com and Writer's In The Round Radio Network through Acoustic Roundtable hosted by Anthony Woods.  Press includes articles in the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel and the Florida Bar News, as well as a positive review in the nationally distributed 'Recording Magazine'. The Spanish newspaper "Heraldo Del Canar" printed a feature story about Ric on August 30, 2014.  The paper is the largest circulation newspaper in the N.Y.C. metropolitan area.  The headline of the article reads, "Una Interesante Historia Del Ric Zweig."  From sales of an earlier CD, Ric raised just short of $3,000 for the South Florida Alzheimer's Association.  Sales of a more recent CD raised in excess of $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Ric has been part of the following compilation CDs:  LA Records compilation CD of unsigned songwriters, the Oasis Adult contemporary Volume IX #5 Radio Sampler, and the 'Hurricane Healing" CD with Australia's Blue Pie Records.

Ric, a former criminal court Circuit Judge in Miami, Florida, is locally promoted by A 1 Promotions Group in South Florida and has legal representation from Richard Neal Clarvit for the purpose of securing licensing deals for television and motion pictures.
Updating a bit, Ric has made a number of recent festival appearances performing either as Ric Zweig or with his full band "FRESH AIR".  They are as follows:  'Natural Cure Music Festival', 'Ft. Lauderdale Beach Music Festival', 'The 15th Annual Medical Marijuana Festival' (Ric was also a guest speaker at this 2013 event), 'The 2013 Miami Independent Artist Conference' and 'The Broward County Music Festival'.  In 2014 "FRESH AIR" performed at the Four Twenty Fest at Miami's famed 'Tobacco Road' main stage as well as the 2014 7th Annual Super Summer Jam at Miami's Hard Rock Cafe.  Also noteworthy is the acceptance for airplay, of Ric' tune "The Dark Light" which he co-wrote with Vito Tuxedo, by 'The Songwriter's Network Kickback Radio' and the same tune being included on a compilation CD produced and labeled as the 2013 Miacon All-Stars.  2015 has already featured an appearance by Ric's previously mentioned band "FRESH AIR" at Miami's most prominent and largest music venue, namely GRAND CENTRAL on March 14th for the 17th Annual Medical Marijuana Concert event. Updating, we have the "FRESH AIR"performance at CHURCHILL'S PUB for the 2015 Thriller Halloween Festival on October 24th.  The band was invited to perform on the main stage at peak time, and has already received an invitation to perform for next year's show.  In November of 2015, Ric's band "FRESH AIR" was nominated for "Best Band" and "Best Rock Band" in the 2015 South Florida Oski Music Awards.  "FRESH AIR" will close its festival schedule for 2015 with a performance at the SAVE ROCK FESTIVAL on December 26th, also at CHURCHILL'S PUB in Miami.  Finally, Ric's website, www.riczweig.com has caught the eyes of an amazing, more than 310,000 visitors to date, (that's more than 60 thousand over a quarter of a million) and his You Tube video, "The DARK LIGHT" co-written with California musician and producer Vito Tuxedo, has garnered in excess of 7,800 views.  Our 2017 You Tube video, "HERE COMES THE RAIN" directed and filmed by Tony Colella, has exceeded more than 7500 views in its first year and a half of publication.  Our latest YOU TUBE video production, "BOX" again directed by Tony Colella, has been viewed more than 1500 times since its release back in February of 2019.

Back in 2016 saw the appearance of Ric Zweig & "FRESH AIR" at a number of festivals including the Broward County Music Festival at KREEPY TIKI and the Natural Cure Festival at CHURCHILLS, both in April.  But the big news, so far, in 2016 is the band having performed in New Orleans on May 20th and 21st at both CHECK POINT CHARLIE and the NEW ORLEANS HARD ROCK CAFE playing on a bill with our good friends from Miami, "THE OSKI FOUNDATION".

Ric Zweig original music continues to receive significant radio airplay on the internet as well as AM and FM radio.  On August 2nd, 2016, The Biz 880 AM, we played live in their studio an acoustic version  of 'Here Comes The Rain' and 5 days later, SHAKE 108, 107.9 FM conducted a 15 minute interview followed by the FM debut of our tune 'The Stranger'.  We appeared live once again in the 880 AM studios on May 16th, 2017.  This being our third appearance on the Nora Adler Show.  In the preceding week, 'The Stranger' was played on 18 internet outlets worldwide with 12 of them being in the United Kingdom. In December of 2016, Ric accepted an invite from ZEMAITIS GUITARS to enter into an endorsement deal with the company.  Ric is proud to represent ZEMAITIS. Ric Zweig & 'FRESH AIR" will return to the New Orleans area on November 19th, 2016 when they perform in Larose, Louisiana at Barrios' Rock 'n Gator for the Gator Bash and then back to Checkpoint Charlies on Esplanade Ave. in the heart of New Orleans' Frenchnan District on November 26th, 2016.  Also, a most valued friendship with Mr. David Mobley, out of Ft. Worth, Texas, led to our retaining Ms. Yvonne Laughlin of 'Yvonne's World' as our PUBLICIST.  We are excited and optimistic, that with Yvonne's help, more and more people will become aware of our music.  BTW, those not familiar with Mr. Mobley, might consider checking out his Wikipedia page.  Suffice to say, the wheel continues to turn.  UPDATE:  Ric Zweig, nominated for a 2018 OSKI MUSIC AWARD as best local singer/songwriter.  This is the third year of the annual event which honors musicians from the South Florida music scene.  Ric appeared LIVE on the Aimee Beah Moore FM radio show on August 5th, 2018 SHAKE 94.3 on your FM dial in Miami, Florida.  7 RZ original tunes were played with 3 of them performed LIVE by Ric on acoustic guitar.
